dc.description.abstractYemen'de on yılı aşkın süredir devam eden krizin ardından, ülke dünyanın en kötü ve en önemli insani felaketini yaşıyor. Yüzbinlerce sivil hayatını kaybetti ve yaklaşık 4,5 milyon kişi ülke içinde yerinden edildi. Bu rakamlar artmaya devam ediyor. Sağlık ve ekonomi sistemleri çöktü, güvenlik istikrarsız hale geldi, hükümet kontrolü kaybetti ve ülke birkaç savaşan gruba bölündü. Eğitim, çatışmadan en çok etkilenen sektörlerden biri. Binlerce okul yıkılmış ve milyonlarca çocuk eğitimden mahrum kalmıştır. Çok sayıda çocuk okulu bırakarak silahlı milislere katılmıştır. Dilencilik ve çocuk evlilikleri yaygınlaşmış, binlerce öğretmen yıllarca maaş alamayınca düzenli bir gelir elde etmek için mesleğini bırakmıştır. Bu tez, uluslararası kuruluşların Yemen'deki ülke içinde yerinden edilmiş kişiler için acil durumlarda eğitime nasıl yanıt verdiklerini incelemektedir. Ayrıca, bu kuruluşların yıllardır kapsamlı ve verimli bir yanıt verememelerinin nedenlerini ve karşılaştıkları zorlukları ve engelleri de araştırmaktadır. Araştırmada, görüşmecilerin getirdiği yeni fikirlerin kullanılabilmesi için derinlemesine görüşme aracı kullanılmıştır. Nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bu yöntem, Yemen'deki 14 acil durum eğitim müdahale çalışanı ve eğitim profesyoneli ile yapılan görüşmelere dayanmaktadır.
dc.description.abstractMore than a decade into Yemen's ongoing crisis, the country is experiencing the world's worst and most significant humanitarian catastrophe. Hundreds of thousands of civilians have been killed and approximately 4.5 million have been displaced internally, with these numbers continuing to rise. The health and economic systems have collapsed, security has become unstable, the government has lost control and the country has been divided into several warring factions. Education is one of the sectors most affected by the conflict. Thousands of schools have been destroyed and millions of children have been deprived of an education. A large number of children have dropped out of school to join armed militias. Begging and child marriage have become widespread, and thousands of teachers have left the profession in search of a steady income after years of unpaid wages. This dissertation examines how international organisations respond to education in emergencies for internally displaced people in Yemen. It also explores why these organizations have been unable to provide a comprehensive and efficient response for years and the challenges and obstacles they face. An in-depth interview methodology was used to incorporate the new ideas of the interviewees throughout the research. A qualitative research method was used. This research was based on interviews with 14 emergency response and education professionals in Yemen.
